The photo as the bridge for human exchange

A pinhole camera, a 1937 Aero Ektar lens, a few boxes of delicate Fuji instantaneous film, for us this was the start of a deep human exchange on the Thousand Hills of Rwanda. Each photo has been donated to the person who accepted to be taken in portrait, before a second one was taken to be part of the portfolio.

A photo exhibit of these portraits, each of them unique, is being organised to tell these amazing stories of resilience and rebuilding of life, but also account for the current difficulties of the Rwandan population.
